Are you seeking a new role in lettings? This role will be general letting office administration working alongside the owners, another full-time office administrator, office manager, trainee negotiator, and self-employed inventory clerk. Full time salary up to £30,000 per annum depending on experience.

The role will be varied, but primarily covering:

General Office Assistance

  • Front facing office position in Torquay. Handling telephone calls and general face to face alongside colleagues to include booking valuations, viewings, speaking to landlord clients and tenants.
  • Creation of a property file.
  • General office duties.

Tenancy Set Up

  • Working with other team members to ensure the AML compliance checks have been carried out using the Landmark digital platform.
  • Compilation via our CRM software of the tenancy agreement and deposit registration.
  • Production and handling of the move-in pack to ensure it holds the essential paperwork including the tenancy agreement, deposit protection certificate, current gas safety certificate, current EICR (Electrical Installation Condition Report), and How-To-Rent Guide.
  • Notification of change of utilities via our agency CRM.
  • General liaising between landlord and tenant for a smooth tenancy start.

Post Tenancy

  • Daily reconciliation between our CRM and banking of received payments (rents, deposit etc) and any required payments to contractors. Deduction of our firm’s letting fees/commission.

Our client is a family orientated firm who are passionate about providing a pleasant work environment, and a quality service to their clients. The office is in a beautiful location, and this will be a busy role, but a productive and enjoyable position for someone with excellent organisational skills! Ideally, they are seeking a full-time role, 8:45am - 5:30pm Monday - Friday with one hour for lunch although less hours would be considered for the right candidate.

Standard 20 days holidays pro-rata with public/bank holidays off. The client also gives discretionary time off between Christmas and New Year with the team taking one half day to cover the office each.

They will also look annually at a bonus subject to office profit and performance plus unrestricted on-road parking. There may be times the person will need to make outside office or property visits, and any fuel will be covered accordingly.
