Lending Product Manager

My client is a fast growing Bank within the Buy To Let Mortgage Lending Landscape and they are now looking for an entrepreneurial individual to join them within their Product Lending team.

The Role

The Lending Product Manager position will have responsibility for supporting delivery of the Lending product strategy and ensuring sustainable balance sheet growth.

The Lending Product team is responsible for the entire end-to-end lending process - from origination, through credit decisioning, legal, drawdown and in-life performance. They look for talented individuals who can think differently to deliver the right outcomes.

The role will work heavily with the Distribution, Marketing, Credit Risk and Operational teams and you’ll need to be excellent at working with others across the business to maximise their knowledge in growing their lending product and digital solutions.

You will have genuine ownership - from strategy to delivery. This is a role for a Lending Product Manager who wants to get things moving quickly; who can set a digital product strategy and align the business around this, who can work with data, designers and with a dedicated full-stack engineering team to build and optimise something you are truly proud of.

Your experience as a Lending Product Manager:

• Have experience shipping complex yet customer-centric analytical products in a fast-growing company
• Have experience working on Lending products, ideally within the Buy To Let market.
• Be data-driven, passionate about metrics, and intellectually honest about how your product is performing
• Balance innovative thinking with the ability to earn trust across the broader organisation by delivering business outcomes
• Have significant independence/ownership for your product area
