An International banking institution wish to recruit an operations officer covering multiple products and operational processes specifically corporate lending and trade finance products.

Overview

Primary responsibility for support and cover for transaction flow and data entry for syndicated and bilateral loans administration, trade finance loan and corporate deposits both time deposits and demand deposits.

Loan documentation interpretation and creation of Loan operating profiles for syndicated and bilateral loans.

Completion of trade due diligence for Trade Finance related transactions including the screening of all parties both sanctions and adverse media, screening of vessels and vessel owners, dual use goods check and ongoing vessel tracking in line with the JMLSG.

As part of the Trade due diligence the identification of potential red flags and the escalation to Compliance along with a detailed rationale to explain the issue including any evidence that has been collected.

Ability to understand and generate the relevant MT series Swift message

Experience Required

Suit an all-rounder with an exposure to as broad a range of products and processes as possible.

Experience in Trade Finance or Loan administration.

Hands on experience of operational processes, critical.

Ability to communicate (written and oral) fluently in Mandarin.

Able to prioritise tasks and work to tight timelines under pressure.

Understanding of regulatory impact on all operational processes
