Are you a detailer with a marine background looking for a new and exciting role within a prestigious and highly reputable company, who provide excellent training, support and progression opportunities to propel your career, whist being rewarded with an excellent pay and incentive package?

Are you looking for a varied, hands-on role where you will become an integral part of the team? You will be working on all aspects of marine detailing from routine cleaning servicing to polishing and detailing of leisure craft up to 50ft?

This busy company operative on the River Yar and due to growth of the business, they are looking for their new professional to join the team. The role will consist of above and below the waterline detailing, gel coat repair and maintenance and other ad hoc detailing duties.

This role would suit a professional detailer that is looking to work for a friendly team of engineers and detailers in a busy boat yard.

The Role:

• Below and above the waterline: Mechanical sanding, surface preparation, and application of antifouling products
• Polishing prowess, including hand and machine techniques on gelcoat and other hull materials, with proficiency in using cutting compounds
• Cleaning skills, encompassing exterior washdowns, interior valets, and competency in deck cleaning and teak restoration
• Preparation and paint of hulls and surfaces
• GRP Repair
