Leisure Center Manager

We are recruiting for an experienced Leisure Center Manager for a fantastic four star hotel based in Limerick, Ireland.

Salary - €30,000 - €35,000

Reporting to the General Manager, the Leisure Center Manager will be tasked with optimising sales at the Leisure Center, all while upholding exemplary standards of health, safety, and hygiene. This position offers an outstanding chance for a driven and ambitious individual to advance their career.

The Role

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the leisure center, ensuring smooth functioning of all facilities and services.
• Develop and implement strategies to maximise revenue generation and profitability of the leisure center.
• Manage a team of staff, including recruitment, training, and performance evaluation.
• Maintain high standards of customer service, addressing any issues or concerns promptly and effectively.
• Develop and execute marketing and promotional activities to attract new customers and retain existing ones.
• Monitor and analyse financial performance, preparing budgets and financial reports as required.
• Collaborate with other departments or external partners to organise events, programs, or special activities.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices, continuously seeking opportunities for improvement and innovation.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations, conducting regular inspections and risk assessments.

About You

• Must have 2/3 years managing a Fitness or Leisure Centre, with a proven track record of actively boosting sales and surpassing commercial targets.
• A can do attitude, positive demeanor and a strong understanding of Health and Safety regulations.
• Fitness Instructors qualification (ITEC/NCEF/NCEHS).
• Pool Plant room qualification - with experience in managing a pool plant room.
• Qualified and certified Lifeguard.
• Occupational first aid qualification with AED.
