Randstad C&P are working with a leading facilities management client who are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Legionella Remedial Plumber to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the Legionella control program, conducting remedial plumbing tasks and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.

This is a full-time, permanent position and the main working hours are Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week. This position is covering Perth and surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct remedial plumbing tasks to address identified risks related to Legionella bacteria.
  • Carry out installations, repairs, and modifications to water systems as required.
  • Implement control measures to prevent the growth and spread of Legionella bacteria.
  • Perform thorough inspections and assessments of water systems to identify and rectify potential hazards.
  • Maintain accurate records of work undertaken and ensure compliance with all relevant documentation requirements.
  • Collaborate with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders to achieve project objectives effectively and efficiently.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures, including health and safety guidelines, at all times.

Requirements:

  • Plumbing qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 2 or equivalent).
  • Proven experience in remedial plumbing, with specific knowledge of Legionella control measures.
  • Strong understanding of relevant regulations and standards, including ACoP L8.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Self-motivated and proactive approach to work, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Full UK driving license.
