circa £22-26k (negotiable)

Are you an experienced legal secretary with experience in Private Client?

If so, and if you are seeking a new exciting position with an established law firm in the Chichester area, this may be your opportunity.

This is an interesting and varied role covering all aspects of private client / probate. The department covers a varied caseload.

Responsibilities

  • Providing full secretarial support
  • Diary management, booking appointments and liaising with clients,
  • Audio transcription, liaising with clients, and handling telephone queries and requests.
  • Typing/correspondence and document work, alongside the preparation of legal forms where required.
  • Other related / reasonable duties as and when required within the team / department.



Person Requirements

  • Preparing estate accounts, typing wills, typing LPAs, typing codicils, IHT forms etc.
  • Candidates will need previous Private Client experience within a legal environment, be enthusiastic and organised. Experience is using of digital dictation, BigHand, Oyez Forms, Excel and Partner 4 Windows would be advantageous.
  • You need to be able to prioritise your work, use your initiative and meet deadlines.
  • Good communication skill are essential both written and verbally, as well as providing a friendly customer / client customer service.
