Legal Secretary
  • Annual Salary: £27K - £28K

We are seeking a dedicated Legal Secretary to join a great client of ours in the Croydon area, providing essential support in the conveyancing department. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in conveyancing, demonstrating a keen eye for detail and a professional approach to supporting legal services.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Prepare and manage correspondence, legal documents, and reports in a timely manner.
  • Organise and coordinate appointments, meetings, and manage deadlines.
  • Provide administrative support to lawyers and enhance office effectiveness.
  • Handle communication with clients, witnesses, and other professionals.
  • Conduct research and collate information relevant to cases.
  • Maintain and update databases and tracking systems.
  • Respond to phone calls, emails, and inquiries with professionalism.
  • Manage the diaries of the legal team and ensure smooth operation of all conveyancing activities.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Legal Secretary, with specific conveyancing experience.
  • Familiarity with legal documents and terminology.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and the ability to work with legal technology (case management software, etc.).
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and professional discretion.
Benefits:
  • Competitive salary range of £27K - £28K per annum.
  • Regular working hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00 - 17:30.
