Legal Secretary (Private Client)

Tunbridge Wells

£26,000 - £28,000 p/a

Full time, permanent

A leading law firm in Tunbridge Wells are looking for an experienced Private Client Legal Secretary to join their busy team. With a long history dating back over hundreds of years, this firm have built a solid name for themselves. Their high-quality work makes them a well-known name, not only in Kent but nationally. As a result of this, they are consistently being recognised by The Lawyer 200, The Legal 500 and Chambers and Partners.

Main responsibilities

  • Answering calls, taking clear and precise messages and passing on to the relevant fee earner
  • Administration to include daily filing, typing, responsibility for client files, photocopying, scanning, preparing mail and enclosures, and arranging client visits.
  • Arranging appointments, booking meeting rooms and coordinating your fee-earners calendar.
  • To assist with drafting documents such as LPoA’s.
  • Ensure the confidentiality of all the firm’s and client documentation and information.

About you

  • You will be proficient in Word, Outlook, Excel and other packages that may be relevant to the role
  • Previous experience as a legal secretary
  • You must possess a high level of organisational skills with excellent attention to detail, and the ability to prioritise tasks with competing deadlines.
  • You will be positive and professional with great communication skills
