Time Appointments are delighted to be working on behalf of a locally based Solicitors, who are one of the longest-established law firms in East Anglia. They are looking to onboard a Legal Secretary within the Ipswich branch, to join their friendly team in providing an excellent service to all clients.

Key Duties:
· Keeping Records up to date and general filing (both paper & electronic documents).
· Archiving Files.
· Typing up Legal Documents, including transcribing audio dictation, correspondence, emails, and all other like documents.
· Answering the phone and making a documented record.
· Organising diaries and making appointments for fee earner(s).
· Acting as secretary to assigned fee earners and carry out the task a role normally entails.
· Receiving "On Account" payments from Clients and referring these to accounts department.
· Informing accounts department of any Client changes.
· Generally finalising matters and obtain edger printouts before closing file.
· Covering reception as and when required.
· Attending training courses as required by Partners.
· Preparing Court forms, including Court bundles for hearings.

The ideal candidate will be organised with a flexible approach to work. You will have excellent time keeping and be a positive team player. You will also have previous legal secretarial experience, within any department.
