Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and efficient Legal Secretary to provide administrative and secretarial support to our legal team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting attorneys in document preparation, client communication, scheduling, and other day-to-day administrative tasks. If you have a strong background in legal procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist attorneys in the preparation, formatting, proofreading, and filing of legal documents, such as contracts, briefs, pleadings, and correspondence.
  • Maintain attorney calendars, schedule meetings, and manage appointments.
  • Answer phone calls, take messages, and communicate with clients and other legal professionals in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Conduct legal research to support attorneys in their cases.
  • Prepare and organize legal documents, such as exhibits and deposition summaries.
  • Maintain and organize physical and electronic legal files and databases.
  • Attend meetings and hearings with attorneys, take notes, and prepare summaries.
  • Provide general administrative support, including photocopying, scanning, and managing mail.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements and accommodation for attorneys when necessary.
