Our client, a well-established local Legal firm, are looking for an experienced Legal Secretary to join their Private Client team based in Herne Bat. The company pride themselves on a low staff turnover, so this is a rare and exciting opportunity to join the team!
  
You’d be working in a close-knit team, in a really lovely office environment. The Secretaries all work closely together – whilst you’ll often work 1-2-1 with your Fee Earner, you’ll also be able to help one another out.

Job Title: Legal Secretary – Private Client
Location: Herne Bay, Kent
Salary Range: Up to £25,000 depending on experience
Hours: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday

Holiday Entitlement: 20 days for the first 2 years, increasing to 22 days in the third year, and then yearly increments up to 25+ bank holidays

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide secretarial and admin support to fee earners
  • Arrange appointments and manage diaries
  • Deal with client enquiries
  • Respond to client queries in a prompt and professional manner
  • Prepare correspondence and documents through audio dictations
  • Undertake general administrative duties such as filing, photocopying, and file management
  • Answer calls and greet clients with a welcoming demeanour
  • Liaise with fee earners on file management and other tasks as required
Requirements:
  • Legal Secretary experience ideally within Private Client
  • Proficient in audio dictation and document preparation
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
