Legal Secretarial Assistant

Walsall

£22,000 - £23,000 per annum

Our client is a successful and expanding law firm based in Walsall. They are a well-established business who have been operating for over 40 years. The team is highly experienced and are looking to add an additional Legal Secretarial Assistant to their Childcare Public Law department. Ideal candidates will have prior exposure to Childcare Law or Family Law within a legal firm, excellent attention to detail and strong administrative skills.

Requirements for this Legal Secretarial Assistant role:

  • Have at least 1 years experience of childcare/public law matters.
  • Computer literate with fast accurate typing skills
  • Familiarity with online legal aid applications and billing procedures would be an advantage.
  • Strong administrative skills
  • Excellent levels of accuracy and attention to detail
  • A real team player who is client focused and strives to provide a first-class service.

Duties of this Legal Secretarial Assistant role will include:

  • Legal Aid applications
  • Diary management
  • Time recording
  • Responding to email correspondence and time scales.
  • Regular liaison with professionals
