The Company

This global Legal Professional Services group, operating across 5 continents, has a reputation for delivering outstanding services and innovative product solutions. They are a world leading organisation with clients, which include corporates from all the commercial and industrial sectors, governments, regulators, trade bodies and not for profit organisations. The development & implementation of a "best delivery solution" means there is scope to expand their Legal Projects team.You will help enhance the client experience and add value through efficient project management and there is scope to bring new ideas and expertise to an evolving role within a rapidly changing legal market.

Key Responsibilities of the Legal Project Manager

• Assist with the preparation of all project initiation documentation - such as prepare scope, resourcing and budget proposals for relevant matters or workstreams and then track progress against those proposals
• Apply logical and analytical approaches to solving problems
• Positively influence the individuals you work with (across a range of roles and seniority) to change and adapt their ways of working.
• Explain theoretical concepts to senior stakeholders, including clients, and be comfortable amending your delivery approach and style.
• You will manage effective planning: over the short, medium and long term, then execute against those plans, such as documenting minutes, actions and tracking workstreams.
• Advise and engage with legal technology tools available, to provide support to efficiently manage projects
• Deliver presentations and facilitate workshops and form part of the client pitch teams
• Work directly with Clients, positively representing the firm

Skills & Attributes of the Legal Project Manager

• Project management experience, ideally gained as an LPM within a top-tier law firm or alternatively a professional services or complex matrix environment
• A qualification or industry recognised certification in project management would be desirable
• You will be comfortable with collaboration, influencing and internal networking
• Knowledge of managing large aviation transactions, or complex Due Diligence processes is highly desirable
