Role: Personal Assistant
Location: Edinburgh
Salary: £27,000-£31,000

Pertemps are recruiting a Personal Assistant to work with the Edinburgh based client. The purpose of the role is to provide administrative, secretarial and PA support to the larger team.

The Role:
  • Managing lawyers' schedules and appointments, including coordinating meetings and conferences
  • Screening and directing phone calls and correspondence to the appropriate individuals
  • Drafting and proofreading legal documents, letters, and emails
  • Conducting research and compiling relevant information for legal cases
  • Organizing and maintaining files, documents, and databases in both physical and electronic formats
  • Making travel arrangements and preparing travel itineraries as needed
  • Assisting with billing and invoicing processes
  • Providing general administrative support, such as photocopying, scanning, and filing
  • Handling other ad-hoc tasks and projects as assigned

About You:
  • Proven experience as a Personal Assistant or similar role, preferably within a legal environment
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other relevant software applications
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail
  • Exceptional organizational and time management abilities, with the capacity to prioritize tasks effectively
  • Discretion and confidentiality when dealing with sensitive information
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team
  • Previous experience in a legal setting or familiarity with legal terminology is desirable but not essential
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
