Successful international Law Firm are seeking Legal Development Manager to ensure the effective support of its legal staff, across professional and personal growth. This is a permanent role. Managers in the London office.

Salary to £130,000.

Hybrid Working 3/2 split.

Important and valued role with anility to work with lawyers of all levels.

The role will partner with different areas of the business as well as different practice groups. The Learning Development Manager will work directly with fee-earners of all levels and will work closely with other Legal Development

Responsibilities of the Legal Development Manager:

  • Build understand and maintain extensive knowledge of the firms practice groups, clients, workflow and the Fee-earners in the teams.
  • Identify areas of growth and development.
  • Assist with annual and interim performance reviews.
  • Assist in conduction any development conversations around secondments, feedback etc.
  • Work with Partners to help maximise team performance and cohesion.
  • Work with external training providers to create and deliver bespoke training initiatives.
  • Assist in recruitment of lateral hires & trainees.

Requirements of the Legal Development Manager:

  • Minimum 5 years previous experience as a practising lawyer (ideally in projects or finance although not essential).
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate confidently at all levels.
  • Strong IT, data and reporting skills.
  • Coaching qualifications welcome but not essential.
