Looking for a talented Legal Counsel to join a consumer electronics business in Maidenhead. This role requires a dedicated professional to oversee our company's legal responsibilities and ensure legal compliance in all areas.

Client Details

Our client is a leading organisation within the manufacturing and retail industry. With a global footprint, they have a significant presence in Maidenhead and are well-respected for their commitment to quality and innovation.

Description

* Daily legal support to the multiple companies across the EMEA region.

* Monitoring GDPR/ Data privacy compliance.

* Reviewing, drafting, and advising on commercial contracts such as supply, distribution and service contracts.

* Reviewing and drafting T&Cs for campaigns.

* Collating billing information.

* Assisting with signing and closing procedures, as well as collating signature packs and executing documents.

* Involvement in business projects to cover the legal roll-out.

* Assisting with corporate documents - director appointments, board resolutions, etc.

* Conducting legal research.

Profile

A successful Legal Counsel should have:

  • German fully qualified lawyer (other continental European qualification may be an alternative)
  • A minimum of 3 years of proven experience in Commercial/Contract law, ideally in an international environment
  • Experience and knowledge in data privacy essential
  • Ability to communicate (verbal and written) clearly and effectively with business stakeholders at all levels
  • Business English essential (German a plus if not already German qualified)
  • Hands-on mentality with a business pragmatic approach

Job Offer

  • An attractive salary package, estimated between £60,000 - £68,000 per year.
  • Hybrid working
  • 10% Bonus
