Working for this high-ranking commercial law firm, as Legal Cost Draftsperson you will be responsible for the management of a caseload including schedules of costs, bills of costs and negotiating costs to settlement.


Salary – Up to £45,000 Per Annum DOE

Location – Liverpool + Hybrid 2 days from home

Role Type – Permanent / Full Time / 9-5 / Mon-Fri

The Role


As part of the Costs Team, you'll tackle high-value costs litigation, budgeting, appeals, group litigation, and technical challenges.


In this role, you'll manage a caseload from initiation to completion, primarily focusing on adverse costs claims in multi-track matters. This position demands a proactive individual capable of working independently with confidence and diligence.


Ideal candidates will have experience managing their caseloads, drafting points of dispute, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. An in-depth understanding of the Civil Procedure Rules (CPR) and relevant legislation, alongside excellent communication, organisation, and research skills are crucial. As this role is part of the wider Health Team, clinical negligence costs experience is advantageous but not essential.
