An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Legal Cashier to join a well-respected multi-service law firm based in North Manchester to work alongside the existing finance team. The firm has an excellent reputation and is looking to grow nationwide in the next 3 years.

**Previous legal cashier experience is essential**

Duties include:

  • Posting receipts and cheques
  • Checking completion packs produced by fee earners.
  • Processing purchase ledger invoices and making payments via BACS, CHAPS and Cheques
  • Administration of client banking and Client Account
  • Dealing with petty cash
  • Management of referral fees and supplier invoices
  • Bank reconciliations and production of weekly reports.

Experience:

The ideal candidate will have experience working in a similar position, have high attention to detail and up to date knowledge of CLC/SRA accounts rules.

Experience of working with a legal case management system, such as LEAP, Proclaim etc is mandatory.

  • Previous experience as a Legal Cashier
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in financial record keeping.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage busy completion days.
