Our client is a leading London law firm housed in beautiful offices in Islington.

Due to expansion they have an opening for a legal cashier to join their team. Reporting into the supervisor and working in a small team, you will be responsible for all aspects of accounts payable, client and office account - full training will be given however previous accounts experience gained in a law firm is required.

The firm offers the facility to work from home one day a week and the hours alternate from 8:30-4:30 or 9:30-5:30. They also offer a very generous holiday entitlement.

Responsibilities

  • Dealing with invoices and ensuring they are paid on time
  • Keeping track of banking transactions on a daily basis and managing the accounts system
  • Posting and payment of professional fees and disbursements
  • Dealing with queries from both internal and external sources

Candidate Profile

  • Previous legal finance experience
  • A good understanding of the SARs
  • Experience of online banking and an integrated practice/case management system;
