REED are recruiting for an establish Legal Practice based near Blandford, This is a Part Time role with flexibility on start to finish times.

Legal Cashier

Part Time, 3 days per week (Flexibility in on start and finish times) 9am - 5pm

Office Based - Blandford

£22,000 FTE

Joining an existing team of six, reporting into the Accounts Manager and to job share with another Legal Cashier

Overall purpose:

To provide financial support services to the business as part of the Accounts Department, working efficiently and proactively in protecting our clients’ funds and accurately posting all transactions within the SRA guidelines.

Main Duties:

Key responsibilities

• To support the operation of the firms accounting system.

• To post online searches and chancel

• To process land registry applications

• To complete the daily production of cheques

• To monitor the inbox of accounts

• To process WIP transfers and write offs

• To deal directly with clients personally for cash, cheque and card payments

• To process the banking

• To check outgoing bank payments

Personal

• to keep confidential all client information

• to be positive and helpful with colleagues, clients and professional contacts of the firm

• to assist all departments and colleagues within the firm as requested

• to adhere to and familiarise themselves with the firm’s values and policies

Other Duties

• to include other reasonable duties and tasks which are part of, and incidental to, this type of work
