Reed Further Education are currently working with an outstanding college in the London area who are currently seeking a Catering and Hospitality Lecturer to join their team on a temporary ongoing basis.

Role: Catering and Hospitality Lecturer
Location: Hackney
Hours: Monday - Friday
Salary: up to £40k pa
Duration: Permanent

The College: With over 5,000 students and was awarded an Ofsted "good" rating.

The Catering and Hospitality Lecturer role:

  • To plan and deliver and assess Catering and hospitality to level 3
  • You will be working with students 16+

What the successful Catering and Hospitality Lecturer will need:

  • A recognised teaching qualification DET, DTTLS, PGCE and Cert Education
  • Assessing qualification E.G. TAQA, CAVA, A1 Assessors Award
  • Level 3 Professional Cookery
  • 5 years experience minimum teaching in FE levels 1-3 catering
  • Experience delivering theory and practical
  • Experience running a production kitchen
  • Experience as Sous or Head chef in industry
  • Experience working in an education setting
  • Good verbal and written communication
