This nationally renowned specialist school local to you is looking for a dedicated Learning support assistant to join their team ASAP. The school and college in question currently supports approx. 120+ pupils on roll and can be considered an average sized setting that has recently undergone a refurbishment and extension due to demand. This school supports children with moderate and severe SEN needs including but not limited to Autism. The school is currently looking for a Learning Support Assistant on a full time basis to work in there secondary and college division. For this role the successful candidate must have confidence supporting learners with complex needs. This role consists of supporting SEN learners on a 1:1 and small group basis Monday to Friday (9-4:30pm). The existing team are passionate and dedicated and are invested in offering a broad and balanced curriculum that meets every pupil's individual needs. All applicants for this position must have the following requirements to be considered:

Teaching Assistant Qualification (desirable not essential)

Teaching Assistant/ LSA experience (desirable)

A desire to support SEN learners with complex needs in a school environment

Eligibility to work in the UK

Responsibilities:

Supporting learners on a 1:1, small group, and whole class basis
