  • Providing one-on-one or small group support to students with special educational needs (SEN) or disabilities, both inside and outside the classroom.
  • Assisting with the implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior management strategies to support student progress and well-being.
  • Collaborating closely with classroom teachers and SENCOs to adapt and differentiate learning activities to meet the needs of individual students.
  • Promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued, supported, and empowered to succeed.
  • Monitoring student progress and providing feedback to teachers and parents/guardians as required.

Requirements:

  • Empathy, patience, and a genuine passion for working with students with SEN or disabilities.

  • Previous experience working with children or individuals with SEN is desirable but not essential.
