Learning Support Assistant required in Stockport

Part Time, Permanent Role

£23,400.00 per annum

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support and assistance to students with learning difficulties in a secondary school setting
  • Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to implement individualized learning plans and interventions
  • Foster a nurturing and inclusive learning environment that promotes student success and well-being
  • Assist students with academic tasks, organization, and social skills development

Requirements:

  • Hold GCSEs in Maths and English at Grade C or above
  • Previous experience working with young people in a secondary education setting
  • Calm, patient, and reliable demeanor
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently as needed
