Learning Support Assistant- Education and Training-Learning Support Assistant -Milton Keynes

Are you looking to gain hands on experience within a well-resourced SEN school?

We are actively recruiting for a Learning Support Assistant to work within an alternative provision school that supports and educates Children with Autism, Mild Learning Difficulties and Mental Health Challenges!

This is a very diverse 1:1 Learning Support role. You will be working with boys and girls in Year 3 to Year 11, all will have either Autism, MLD or SEMH, potentially a blend of all 3.

This is a full time term time only role, start days available in January, February or April.

We are interviewing now, with immediate trial days.

Role: Learning Support Assistant

Location: Milton Keynes

Pay: £85 to £90 per day

The key aspect of this role is to demonstrate to the students the value of their education - be it in the core subjects, vocational, sports or creative.

You will be responsible to setting the foundations to provide a safe environment for your students in which to learn and at least, give them the opportunities to make positive life choices.

There is a huge focus on restorative practices and positive re-enforcement.

There is a significant focus on Social, Emotional and Mental Health, LSA roles ideal for aspiring Forensic, Clinical, Education, Forensic Psychologists as well as aspiring Youth and Criminal Justice Officers.
