Learning Support Assistant

Our client requires a Learning Support Assistant in a school working with children with additional needs (ADHD, ASD, SEMH) starting in SEPTEMBER 2024

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the educational and developmental needs of the students. You will work closely with teachers and other staff members to provide individualised support to students who require additional assistance. This role offers a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of the students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one or small group support to students with special educational needs or those who require additional assistance.
  • Monitor students' progress and provide feedback to teachers and parents/guardians.
  • Create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued and supported.

Qualifications:

  • Experience working with children in a personal or professional setting is desirable.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patient, compassionate, and empathetic nature.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to the needs of our students.

Monday- Friday 8:30am-3:30pm

Salary - £80-100 per day depending on experience
