Learning Support Assistant - Inclusive Learning Centre (Leeds)

Full-time / temporary to permanent contract

NextGen Teachers are currently recruiting for a Special Needs Learning Support Assistant for a SEN School located in Leeds. The school are looking for a Learning Support Assistant who can support students in the centre who live with multiple learning needs. The school are looking for passionate and enthusiastic individuals with a background in working with children or adults with Special Educational Needs. This is an Inclusive Learning Centre which caters for students across the Secondary age range.

We are seeking candidates who are available to start within 2-4 weeks and who have a real passion and drive to support students with additional needs and who is motivated to make a difference.

Successful applications will have:

  • Level 3 Qualification or relevant qualifications
  • Previous professional or personal experience with Special Educational Needs
  • Enhanced DBS (or willingness to complete one)
  • Full-time availability
  • 2x professional references
  • Right to work in the UK
