Prospero Teaching are seeking to appoint a dedicated and dynamic Learning Mentor to join a growing team at a Secondary School in Hull. The successful candidate will join a highly effective and diverse team who provide unwavering support for the young people. The post holder will play a pivotal role in supporting learners, aiding in their academic and holistic development. Acting as both a mentor and a role model, you will implement strategies to enhance aspirations and academic achievement, and guide students towards higher education and future success.

• Hours - 8:15 am - 3.30pm

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Recent Graduate, with a 2:2 or higher
• Previous experience working in a UK school
• Recent experience working in a pastoral capacity
• Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (essential, however, training can be provided)
• Up to date prevent awareness training issued in the last 3 years (essential, however, training can be provided)

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

• Hold Right to Work in the UK
• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
• Provide two professional child related references
