Learning Facilitator & Coordinator

Job Type: Full Time, Permanent

Location : Lewes

Salary: £28,000 - £33,000 per annum

Hours: Monday - Friday 37 hours

The Role

Key Responsibilities

As the Learning Facilitator and Coordinator you will be responsible for coordinating, facilitating, tracking and recording learning programs and interventions to ensure continuous development and growth of our colleagues.

  • Deliver engaging and interactive sessions using a variety of instructional techniques and formats.
  • Work across the L&D team to help adapt learning content to different learning preferences and audience needs.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Encourage participation and facilitate discussions and activities and provide constructive feedback.
  • Deliver learning sessions as needed, either in person, virtually or via digital solutions.
  • Assist in the development and updating of learning materials, presentations, and resources.
  • Research industry best practices and incorporate relevant content into learning solutions.
  • Ensure learning is delivered at a standard and volume to meet our regulatory requirements (Ofsted/CQC/Health & Safety Standards) and ensure we meet legislative obligations.

Skills and Qualifications

  • CITP/CIPD/equivalent Learning & Development qualification desired, or willingness to work towards.
  • Experience working within a Social Care environment with children and young people with disability and/or complex medical needs.
  • Proven experience working in a training and facilitation context
  • Experience in presenting to group audiences and facilitating learning.
  • Has contributed to the design and delivery of job-related skills development
  • Knowledge and understanding of educational, residential or health setting
  • Detailed knowledge of Microsoft products and the ability to use them in a learning and development environment.
  • Foundation knowledge of learning principals, approaches and best practice.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multi-task, organise/prioritise workload and work across a team to ensure work completes on time.
  • Builds strong relationships that enable long term trust/confidence and influence.
  • Self-motivated, with the ability to set clear outcomes and be flexible with workloads to meet changing targets or tight deadlines.
  • Has a passion for their own learning as well as the development of others
  • Excellent communicator and listening skills
  • Awareness of risks and regulation that may impact in a learning and development environment.
