Do you have PLC programming experience, and are you seeking a new contract role in Liverpool? Jonathan Lee Recruitment is helping a collaborative company recruit a Lead PLC Engineer, and the role comes with a contract rate of £50.57 per hour (Umbrella, Inside IR35).

As a Lead PLC Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and commissioning PLC-based software applications.

Your main duties will be:

  • Sequential automation (DCP preferred), facility monitoring and manufacturing systems
  • Working as part of a cross-functional development team
  • Having direct input into global manufacturing standards covering multiple technology areas (Body Construction, Trim and Final, Paint, Powertrain).

To apply for this Lead PLC Engineer role, you will need to be an expert in PLC programming and have experience with Allen Bradley/Rockwell PLCs. You will also require the following:

  • Understanding of industrial networks (Ethernet IP)
  • Experience with DCP programming structure
  • Experience delivering MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems)
  • Experience delivering facility monitoring systems.
