Working with a next generation organisation within Electric Vehicles, my client are seeking a capable Lead engineer to join their mission to decarbonise the global transport chain.

You will be working with various engineering teams across R&D to deliver projects from concept for production. You shall also be directly responsible for the quality of the products, optimising the manufacturing process throughout all aspects of the project.

Key Qualifications & Experience

  • Degree in Mechanical, Automotive, Aerospace or equivalent
  • 5+ years of experience with Manufacturing Engineering
  • Design for Manufacture
  • Experience with various Manufacturing processes – Casting, Moulding, Fabrication, Machining and Assembly
  • 3D CAD experience, detailed drawing reviews and coordinating with outside suppliers
  • Experience with ERP / PLM

In return, you shall receive benefits including 30 days’ holiday, sabbatical opportunities after 3 years of service, employee share options etc. My client are also offering a salary circa £65,000 per annum and requires site based work most of the time in Surrey.
