This is an excellent opportunity to working in a small team and a dynamic environment within a growing business with a global client base.
This company designs instrumentation for Oil and Gas, geothermal energy sectors within the UK. They specialise in the development of High-powered electromechanical devices and high pressure and temperature applications.
In this varied role we require you to have knowledge and experience in a range of electronics disciplines to lead our small team of engineers and deliver comprehensive solutions to complex challenges.
This is a fantastic opportunity to lead a team from early design stages to final implementation
The role:
- Understand, maintain, and expand the capability of our proprietary OFDM telemetry system and our communications bus protocols.
- Lead the development of embedded firmware in small microprocessors and FPGAs.
- Lead the design of a wide range of electronics hardware in both analogue and digital domains, including DC-DC converters, motor controllers and data acquisition components.
- Lead in the development, implementation, and improvement of our internal design process
The ideal candidate:
- 7+ years as an Electronics Engineer or similar role developing new products.
- 3+ years in a technical or project lead role.
- Experience with Embedded software
- Experience with Digital signal processing
- Expert with Programming languages such as C and VHDL
