Lead Buyer - IT

Butler Rose is working alongside one of our leading large manufacturing clients based in Stevenage who have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Lead Buyer - IT to join their Information Management procurement team. Hybrid working role and Salary is dependent on experience. You will need to travel internationally to their offices in Rome and Paris.

Duties:
* You will work in partnership with our clients' internal customers to lead procurement competitions in the UK or at Group level, develop procurement pipeline working with Group Category Managers, champion the right relationships with partners and suppliers, and deliver the right procurement outcomes for our client. This role is one where you can run and build competitions both in the U.K. and contribute in a truly international context.
* Your role would sit within _Group Digital and Mobility Services Domain_, which consists of c. thirty-five procurement professionals based in Stevenage, Rome, and Paris. This Domain leads all aspects of IM, software, transformation and innovation, travel, and communications. It is part of a wider international Indirect team of c. eighty people.

Experience and skills:
* Looking for someone who understands any aspect of I.T or software procurement or is comfortable with learning and developing these skills.
* Ideally, looking for someone who has or is willing to working towards MCIPS qualification.
