Land Manager for Renewable Energy (South-West England)

Salary range of £60,000 of £70,000 dependent on experience levels.

Piper Maddox are currently working with one of the most exciting European renewable energy developers in the market to build out their development team. With projects planned across the UK, they are looking to add members of their land team in both the North and South of the country.

With a growing project pipeline north of 3GW of connections (nearly a gigawatt of which is in the planning phase already) this would be a great time to join up with their team. This team includes in-house planning, grid, engineering, and project management capabilities - thus creating a highly collaborative team environment. These in-house functions allow for a clear line of communication throughout the wider development team.

Your day to day responsivities would include:

> The sourcing and identification of suitable land for renewable energy projects.

> Engagement and management with landowners throughout the project lifecycle.

> Commercial negotiations relating to land (Heads of Terms, Lease Option Agreements etc.)

> Liaising with the wider development team and legal support when delivering land.

This would be a fantastic opportunity for someone working within the renewables space who is looking for a blend of autonomy and team support. The structure of this team will allow you to have a level of independence which still being able to rely on the wider development team for support. Crucially, this client puts a high priority on avoiding a micromanagement culture.

Please reach out if this is something you would like to explore further!
