Solicitor / Legal Executive - Land & Development

TSR Legal are delighted to be recruiting for a reputable and longstanding law firm to recruit into our client's Property team.

Location: Chippenham

Responsibilities: As a Land and Development Lawyer, you will play a pivotal role in handling development land transactions from inception to completion. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing site acquisitions with planning permission, covering all aspects from initial instructions to legal completion.
  • Overseeing affordable housing disposal, infrastructure agreements, and general site setup as needed.
  • Assisting and supervising Plot Sales Conveyancers on technical matters.
  • Leading and handling a diverse caseload, including Option Agreements, Promotion Agreements, Strategic Land assembly, Conditional Sale Agreements, unconditional sales and purchases, Planning Agreements, Affordable Housing disposals, Infrastructure Agreements, and more.

The Team: Due to expansion, we are recruiting two lawyers to join the thriving team. Our client represents a significant number of private Housebuilders, Land Promoters, and Landowners on a diverse range of high-value house building projects.

The Department: The Land and Development team is part of the House Building and Land Development Sector, providing high-quality legal services to Housebuilders, Developers, and Landowners throughout the West Country and beyond. Their success has led them to relocate to new office premises on the outskirts of Chippenham in 2020, facilitating further growth.
