One of the UK's leading House Builders are looking for a Land and Planning Manager to support the South region reporting directly to the Managing Director.

The Land and Planning Manager role

The Land and Planning Manager will be responsible for searching for and sourcing land opportunities and acquisitions for sites for residential development across the South of the UK.

This amazing opportunity will be a fast paced and busy role for the successful Land and Planning Manager with this firm erecting 500 houses per year from apartments to detached houses made with the highest craftsmanship.

Duties will include; feasibility studies, market research, acquisition of land for sites, negotiation of costs, carry out the full planning cycle, working closely with architects, engineers and outside consultants to produce schemes.

The Land and Planning Manager

  • Have a strong network of clients to support with acquisitions
  • Extensive knowledge of planning cycle and planning laws
  • Proven track record of cost saving and targets
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Sound knowledge of excel spreadsheets
  • Clean drivers licence
