Job Title: Laboratory Assistant

Location: Newcastle

Duration: 6 Months

Pay Rate: Up to £18.16 per hour DOE

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9 - 5

Adecco Recruitment are currently seeking a Laboratory Assistant to join one of our prestigious clients based in Newcastle. Our client is a multi national consumer goods cooperation who have won numerous awards.

Day to Day:

• Weighing product and making solutions
• Preparation and testing of formulations, including preparation of products for consumer tests
• Physical and chemical analysis of formulations/products
• Summarizing, reporting and communicating data findings and results, using Microsoft Excel/Powerpoint/Word
• Performing large- or small-scale performance tests following defined test methods
• General housekeeping and ensuring labs are kept appropriately according to operating procedures
• Running mechanical equipment and computer activated test methods
• The role will involve working with chemicals and perfumes and may require working with enzymes.

Essential Requirements:

• Laboratory experience
• Passion & Interest in Science

Desirable:

• Relevant qualification
