This Brigg Scientific client are a food testing company based in Derby. They are looking to recruit a new member of staff into their Microbiology team.

Key duties will include,

  • Sample receipt
  • Sample Prep
  • Plating out
  • Use of Aseptic Techniques
  • Sample incubation and monitoring
  • Loading Autoclave
  • other associated Lab Technician position

The role will begin as an agency temporary contract, with the hope of becoming a permanent appointment should everything go well.

This is an entry level position, so they are happy to consider college levers and recent graduates who have an interest in the sciences.

The role is evening work, working Tuesday to Friday 2pm - 10pm and then Saturday 10am - 6pm.

They are looking for someone to start immediately.

Pay rate is £11.44/hr for all hours.
