Job Vacancy: Learning Support Assistants (LSA) for KS3 & KS4

Location: Southend-on-Sea, Essex

Are you passionate about supporting students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)? Do you possess a good sense of humour, strong behaviour management skills, and the ability to adapt to different learning styles? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a Learning Support Assistant (LSA) at our outstanding schools in Southend-on-Sea, Essex.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide tailored support to students with SEND in KS3 & KS4.
  • Implement effective behaviour management strategies to create a positive learning environment.
  • Demonstrate excellent use of initiative to support students' individual needs and learning styles.
  • Collaborate with teachers, SENCo, and SLT to ensure students receive appropriate support.
  • Foster a supportive and understanding environment for all students.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with students with SEND is essential.
  • A good sense of humour and a positive attitude.
  • Strong behaviour management skills.
  • Ability to use initiative and adapt to different situations.
  • Understanding of various children's needs and learning styles.
