KS2 Teaching Assistant

Principal Resourcing are seeking to appoint a KS2Teaching Assistant for a Year 3/4 class in one of our partnership primary schools in Selby. The primary school is looking for a Teaching Assistant who is able to work part-time for the Summer term.

The school has recently been described by Ofsted as a caring, welcoming school where serving their community is at the heart of everything they do.

You can expect to earn up to £100 per day for this role, dependant on experience.

The ideal candidate will:

• Hold a Teaching Assistant qualification
• Have successful experience in a primary school
• Have experience with KS2 learners
• Have experience in delivering specific interventions to support the needs of all pupils
• Possess excellent literacy and numeracy skills
• Have experience of supporting children with special educational needs and vulnerable pupils both emotionally and academically
• Have high expectations of pupils achievement
• Possess good communication skills
• Be a team player with a positive outlook
• Have an ability to work in partnership with pupils, parents, staff and governors
• Provide support under the direction and supervision of teaching staff to assist pupils to access the curriculum and participate fully in school activities;
• Have a sound knowledge of Safeguarding.
