Milk Education are working in partnership with an SEN school who are looking to appoint a Confident and Qualified Primary SEN Teacher on a full time basis, the successful candidate will also have the opportunity to apply for a permanent post. This Ofsted rate Good School supports 4–16 with complex social, communication and interaction difficulties, including autism. This role would be based across KS1 and KS2 and maximum number of students per class is 10 with 2 support staff. The school will be keen to interview ASAP, to be an early applicant please apply and contact immediately. 

Full time - View to Permanent  - 8:30 - 16:00

For the right person, the school can be flexible in a 3 or 5 day working week. 

This role is not suitable for someone who is in your ECT years. 

Your role and responsibilities: 

  • Teach across KS1 and KS2 
  • Plan and prepare lessons
  • Attend meetings, parents evenings and training
  • Teach across curriculum

About you:

  • PGCE with QTS
  • Understanding of SEN and SEMH, particularly ASC and Communication 
  • Previous experience and understanding of PECs and/or Makaton 
  • Confident and Passionate Teacher
