Looking for a new permanent teaching role in Andover? Looking to be part of a progressing school, oozing with opportunity?

Reed Education Southampton are currently seeking an experienced and inspirational Primary Teacher for a permanent, full time position within a small primary school, located in Andover. This role is set to start in September 2024.

The school is proceeding to improve progress and attainment whilst providing fun and exciting opportunities for pupils, in order to increase attainment and engagement. They have recently developed a new, exciting curriculum that will be implemented from September that puts learning in the local are with creative and rich experiences to enrich what they offer their pupils. There are currently under 100 pupils within the school, meaning you will create great relationships with the parents and pupils of the school.

As the Primary Teacher, you will be part of a new and exciting curriculum, providing new and improved opportunities for pupils within the school. You will also have the opportunity to be a part of a new team, working alongside the staff and Senior Leadership team to provide excellent opportunities and learning journeys for pupils, allowing them to develop their skills and become full engaged with the content. You will also have a team to work with and plan alongside so you are not alone, as well as in house cover!

The salary for this role is currently set at £33,814 to £44,870 pro rata, per annum (in line with the Teacher Pay Scale), and is a permanent, full time position.

For this role, you will need:

- At least three years recent part or full time teaching experience in KS2

- Passion, presence and pace to bring learning alive

- Interest in providing learning experiences, rooted in children’s own lives

- Interest and understanding of child development, and create this ethos within your own classroom

- A desire to be part of a school which is committed to developing learning approaches and delivering high quality teaching
