About the role:

Engage Education is currently working with a Ofsted 'Good’ School in Brighton who are seeking an experienced intervention teacher to work across KS2. Interventions will focus on providing additional support to individuals and small groups.

This role is to focus on reading, writing and maths and is due to start after the easter break in April 2024.

This is a popular and lively primary school in Woodingdean with a great school culture, diverse curriculum and supportive senior leadership team. There are strong links with the local community and the school is accessible by public transport or car.

The ideal candidate:

  • A qualified teacher (the school is happy to consider ECTs for the role)

  • Confidence in teaching primary lessons to all abilities

  • Good behaviour management skills

  • Able to inspire and innovate in the classroom

  • A passion for education
