The Graduate
To be successful in this KS2 Graduate Teaching Assistant role, you will have at least a bachelor’s degree in education, or a related field. You will also have an outgoing, friendly personality, with the confidence to offer support to KS2 children in a 1:1 and small group setting. It is essential that you have a passion for the education of young learners and are prepared to partake in activities with the wider school community to create a positive environment for both pupils and staff. Previous experience of working with children, or in a school setting, is beneficial but not mandatory.

The Role
As a KS2 Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will assist teaching staff in the planning and delivery of engaging lessons, and the creation of inspirational learning materials. To ensure that all learning materials can be adapted to suit the needs of each individual student, you will monitor and track the progress of all pupils and provide feedback to both children and parents. You will provide in-depth support to KS2 pupils as they approach their SAT examinations.
