We are seeking to employ a KS1 class teacher who has the potential to be outstanding and the drive to make a difference. A passion for Year 1 is desirable. As a KS1 Teacher, you will play an important role in delivering high-quality education to our KS1/KS2 students. Come and join us!

  • Experienced in the primary curriculum, including Early Literacy, math and KS1

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver creative and engaging lessons tailored to diverse learning styles
  • Cultivate a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and collaboration
  • Implement effective classroom management strategies to create a conducive learning atmosphere
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to students and parents
  • Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support student development and well-being

To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will have:

  • Resilience and patience
  • Teaching Certification (QTS/PGCE)
  • In-depth knowledge of the primary school curriculum and teaching methodologies
  • Patience, adaptability, and a genuine love for education
  • Ability to craft engaging and inclusive lesson plans

  • Have the right to work in the UK
  • Have an up-to-date CV with two relevant references from within the last 2 years
  • Have a DBS registered to the update service or be happy to apply for one with GSL Education
