Prospero Teaching are working on behalf of a Roman Catholic primary school in Bury, Greater Manchester. The school, who want to remain anonymous, are seeking a KS1 Class Teacher to begin work after the Easter half-term. The contract will expire in July 2025 with the possibility of a permanent contract.
Staff meetings, planning, marking, and all other aspects of the school day will be required for this vacancy. The desired candidate must have QTS and experience in Key Stage 2 is desired but not essential.

- Duration / Likely Duration - July 2024
- End date (if applicable) - July 2024 (progressing onto permanent position)
- Contract type - Contract
- Full time/part time - Full Time
- Minimum rate of pay - Minimum rate £125 per day (dependant on experience)
- Hours - 8:00am - 16:00pm
- Hold a DBS that is registered on the Update Service.
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Teacher qualification or higher/equivalent
- Previous experience working in a UK school
- Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable however not essential as some training is provided)
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
- Hold Right to Work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
- Provide two professional child related references
