Job Title: Key Stage 1 (KS1) Teacher - Fixed Term Contract

Location: NG11 area

Start Date: April 2024

Contract Type: Full-time, Fixed Term Contract until July 2024

Are you a dedicated and enthusiastic Key Stage 1 (KS1) Teacher seeking a new opportunity to inspire and educate young learners? Our vibrant one form entry school in the NG11 area is currently looking for an exceptional individual to join our team on a fixed term basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a positive impact and contribute to the success of our school community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and interactive lessons in accordance with the KS1 curriculum, ensuring progression and attainment for all pupils.
  • Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment where children feel valued, safe, and motivated to learn.
  • Assess and monitor pupils' progress, providing constructive feedback to support their development and achievement.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and parents to foster positive relationships and promote a culture of teamwork and partnership.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with experience teaching in Key Stage 1.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of the KS1 curriculum and effective teaching strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and inspire young learners.
  • Commitment to creating an inclusive and nurturing learning environment that celebrates diversity and promotes equality.

Additional Information:

  • This position is full-time and will commence in April 2024, on a fixed term contract until July 2024.
  • Salary will be competitive and dependent on experience and qualifications.
