KS1 Graduate Teaching Assistant

***Working closely to support the learning of KS1 pupils across all areas of the national curriculum.

Requirements:
  • At least a bachelor’s degree.
  • Genuine passion and enthusiasm for supporting the education of young learners.
  • Commitment to preserving the wellbeing and safety of KS1 pupils.
  • Flexibility to adapt to any situation and suit any learning needs.
  • Previous experience working with children in any capacity is advantageous, but not mandatory.


The Role
As a KS1 Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the teaching staff and pupils within Key Stage 1. Working closely with experienced teachers, you will assist in creating stimulating lessons that cater to the needs of young learners. Your key responsibilities will include providing 1-2-1 and small group support to children in need of additional assistance. You will work to encourage the social and academic development of pupils through meaningful, caring interactions and will act as a key source of support for children in the classroom.
