AWE is currently recruiting for a Knowledge Management Specialist

About the team: The Warhead Engineering Services Group, provides the enabling technical, operational and people based services, processes and tools into Warhead Engineering and is the home of some special projects

Role: Knowledge Management Specialist

Location: Reading Area

Salary: £35,840 - £45,000 (depending on your suitability and level of experience)

About the Role:

The role of a Knowledge Management Specialist sits within the Warhead Engineering Services Group. Its purpose is to capture, review, collate, summarise and publish domain knowledge and experience for the benefit of the future business, underpinning AWE's capability to develop, maintain and deliver systems.

Who Are We Looking For?

Working as part of a small team, you will be required to design Knowledge Management (KM) processes and local best practices and ensure continuous improvement through RLI's to capture improvement activities.

The team are interested in hearing from candidates who can demonstrate experience in KM. You will provide specialist advice on KM policies, standards, processes and procedures, which are compliant with relevant legislation, as well as support and deliver AWE technical learning and development.

In addition to the above, candidates should be able to demonstrate the following:

  • Competent skills in the use of photo and video editing software
  • Confident oral and written communication and presentation skills
  • High level of understanding of Knowledge management tools and techniques
  • Competent in the use of SharePoint
